A Little, Aloud Workshop

February 10, 2011

Find out how you can use A Little, Aloud to make a big difference.

There are a lot of people living here with a lot to offer, but we need to get that out of them, to ignite that spark. I think the poetry can do that and I’m here to learn how to use it.

Care Worker, Liverpool

If you work with elderly or vulnerable people, we are offering the chance to commission a special A Little, Aloud Workshop and learn how to bring out the best in the book as a shared resource to pass on the pleasure and well-being that shared reading aloud can give.

I read to stroke victims so know first-hand the power of good that reading aloud can do. This first-rate collection is a real treasure trove and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

You can find out more about this workshop on our website, or by contacting Katie Clark, Dementia and Elderly Care Manager, on katieclark@thereader.org.uk or 0151 794 2242.
